Engaged as a communications consultant for Kaiser Permanente - Northern California, I performed a range of high-level deliverables including project management of the online annual report, revamping the internal employee volunteer website, drafting infographics for partnering organizations, and managing communications plans for a high-profile website rollout and annual events.

Mission-Based Tech Start-Up

The CEO of a mission-based, women-owned tech start-up company engaged my services to create and build out operational infrastructure in time for product launch. Tasks ranged from analyzing business objectives and internal processes; identifying main pain points; process improvement / determining which applications and platforms would best meet the needs of the organization; deploying new platforms and creating policies and protocols; building a company intranet; creating standard operating procedures (SOPs); to recruiting, hiring, and on-boarding new contractors. 


The leader of a burgeoning hospitality company, representing several of the finest manufacturers in the hotel and restaurant industry, needed back-end operations and digital marketing guidance from the ground up.

Tasked with the responsibility of helping this growing company reach its goals, I became a one-woman marketing department. I oversee all aspects of their public image, from managing the editorial calendar to producing critical collateral and social media messaging designed to increase their bottom line. I am also building and supporting the operational infrastructure needed to ensure the company’s long-term sustainability.

Public Health

Cristobal Consulting—a boutique consulting firm that supports organizational transformation in the healthcare and public health sectors—utilizes my services to build out their operational infrastructure in preparation for rapid expansion. I provide key project management, marketing services, and back-end operations management, allowing the consultancy to focus on strategic objectives and growth.

Event Management

In a period of rapid growth, I oversaw the operations and marketing efforts for a successful event management company, while keeping the partners and bi-coastal team on task. I built and led a social media marketing initiative that significantly grew community engagement, increased website traffic, and doubled their audience across numerous social media platforms.


High-level projects that directly contributed to the company's success during my tenure included production of the their inaugural goal planning retreat, creation of an interactive on-boarding resource guide, and an approachable consulting agreement for contractors to streamline project start-up time.


The Moore Foundation was looking for someone to capture the voice of over 200 of their grantees as part of the organization's website redesign. Their Chief Communications Officer tapped my services and I delivered a portfolio that captured the essence of the foundation’s mission – that of fostering path-breaking scientific discovery, environmental conservation, patient care improvements, and preservation of the special character of the San Francisco Bay Area.

Program Design and Evaluation

Recruited by the founder of a small, but thriving organizational design and leadership consultancy, I provide public relations, writing, and editing services on key projects, allowing the company to focus on critical business objectives. Under tight deadlines, I edit and transform the tone of written products to reach a broader audience.
